Deep in the heart of Texas! (Dallas - August 14-22, 2008)

Corey left for Dallas, Texas for work on Monday, August 11th and Abby was the first to notice. Abby would stand at the top of the stairs and point at the front door saying, “Daddy” in a very sad voice. For two nights, she woke up in the night crying wanting Daddy. When she couldn’t find him she wouldn’t calm down. For an hour every night she cried and cried for Daddy. I even had to turn on the light to show her that Daddy wasn’t there. By Wednesday, Abby missed her Daddy so much (and Mommy missed sleep), Corey called and got us a ticket to go visit him. We finally got to Dallas on Thursday, August 14th and all was well. We went to the JFK Museum, a Texas Rangers baseball game and I got to go to the temple while Abby hung out with Daddy at the mall. We also went swimming and for walks. All the cooks and maids just adored Abby.
