August 23-31st, 2008

Maybe I am just a bad mother, but Abby had spaghetti for the first time on August 23rd at the Catenzaros. She is 18 months old!!! She was quite a mess. I just took her shirt off and let her go to town. She really enjoyed it.
Abby started going full-time to nursery on Sunday, August 24th. I took you into her class (with her baby doll) and did a mad dash out the door. She was sad for a little while, but then did just fine.
Abby had a doctor’s appointment on August 26th, which always means shots.
On Sunday, August 31st Abby got into the biggest yogurt mess to date. I turned for just 1 minute and when I turned back to spoon was gone and Abby was dipping into her yogurt with her entire hand. It was all in her hair, on her arms, legs and face. It looked like war paint. Abby had her second bath of the day and it was barely 10 am. This is also the day Abby spotted daddy passing the sacrament. First Abby said, ‘daddy’. Then she waved and said ‘hi’ to daddy all the way across the chapel. Daddy couldn’t help but smile, but didn’t dare wave back. It was really sweet. We went to Grandma and Grandpa Ormes for FHE. It was a complete downpour for most of the evening. When it stopped raining, Abby went outside and played with Aunt Leslie in the puddles. Leslie would point to them and then Abby would go walk into them. Abby is so cute.
